Barre Resolute
About the Instructor
Hi there, I am so glad you are here friend!
I'm Brianna Johnson, certified barre instructor, Marine Veteran, and mother of four little girls. My passion for fitness and wellness came to me at an early age, but even more so once I became a mom. Not only is it good for our physical bodies, but the mental health benefits are amazing as well. Another driving force behind why I wanted to become a fitness instructor was because as a mom, it can be hard to make friends and find a supportive community. My desire is not only to offer a fitness class for moms, but to build a community of moms where we can find connection, friendships, and support during every season of motherhood.

Class Description
If you haven't been to a barre class, you're in for a treat. It's a 45–55-minute full body, combination style workout that uses upbeat music, the balance and strength of Pilates and yoga, and the small, detailed movements of ballet. Barre is a toning, body-weight-lifting workout, it engages muscles you wouldn't normally target in other forms of workouts. It uses high-reps, and low-impact movements. Barre challenges anyone looking to fine tune their muscles, no ballet experience required.
Who is Barre for and why is it so good for you?

Barre is for everyone, any age, any fitness level can enjoy. There are modifications offered for beginner and advanced options for more of a challenge. It helps improve full body strength, and deep core muscles that improve posture, and help minimize low back pain.
What to bring?
When you attend barre class, you will need water, a mat, light (2-3lb) weights and medium (5-15lb) weights depending on your fitness level.
